Winter Weather Advisory issued January 5 at 4:49AM EST until January 6 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC
* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
of up to two inches and ice accumulations between one to two
tenths of an inch.
* WHERE…Orange, Culpeper, Spotsylvania and Southern Fauquier
Counties.
* WHEN…From 7 AM to 7 PM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions.
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on
steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery,
increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
There is a new alerting system in Fauquier County. Alert Fauquier, powered by Rave Mobile Security, will send you the alerts in case of emergencies. These can range from weather alerts to community developments, such as a look out or lock down.
